Your book is local first. iCloud key-value sync keeps it available across your devices, while Pro adds versioned iCloud Drive backups for recovery.
The everyday book
Petak stores the book in UserDefaults on the device and syncs it with NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore. Last writer wins for a book update, so let a device finish syncing before editing the same spot elsewhere.
Versioned backups
Pro writes versioned backups into your own iCloud Drive. Use them before a large change, after a device replacement or when you need to return the book to an earlier state.
